This set is taken from an extremely rare Japanese acetate. Acetates were metal records that could not be massed produced, but had to be etched one at a time, resulting in their rarity. Usually a pressing was limited to somewhere around 30-50. A standard record was first produced as an acetate, from which a "mother" was made - an over sized record that was a mirror image and used to stamp hot vinyl to produce an Lp. Judging from the sound, I would have to guess its source was a very low generation tape. On the down side, in some places the acetate source is evident. They play like regular records.
