Introduced as the Rock Sensation of the Year, this is an outstanding night despite the fact that John Paul Jones is apparently feeling unwell. Page is flying now, Since I've Been Loving You is performed with an amazing aggression and fluency. Plant compliments the audience: "It's very nice to be here in Vienna...you've even got some good groupies!" Dancin Days is inroduced as "a song about little schoolgirls, not too yound mind you, and my love for them...remembering what happened to Jerry Lee Lewis, I think I'll take it easy!"

Dazed and Confused is highly satisfying and afterwards, Plant sings "Happiness is a warm gun" from the Beatles white album. Stairway to Heaven also benefits from Page's new found energy, as he delivers a breathtaking final solo. For the Heartbreaker encore, Jimmy provides a spontaneous new opening arrangement, never to be aired again...
